Evaluation regarding the performance

I was in the costumes committee group , the main job was to plan, draw, provide and organise things on the costumes. The difficulties faced were in fact quite a number of it. Firstly, we had to draw the character's masks which were indeed a difficult task, especially when a person was told to draw when he/she was not an artistic type. However, we still had to draw as the computer enlargement was far too blurred. Secondly, despite the shortage of time, we finished them before the performance. We had to rushed through the masks in the weekends and decide what clothes are the characters supposed to wear. Especially when the characters were cartoons..it was difficult to decide their clothing. They may have to wear additional paper pastings on their T-shirts.( bugs bunny). Thirdly, we faced a shortage of a number of things, examples are the hairbands and cardboards...though we still got the cardboards from mr ong when we asked for it...i had to bring my own hairbands for the boys n i had only 2. They need at least 3. After the performance, i had to force n pull out my hairbands that are taped to the cardboards...it was taped tightly and i did not have enough strength to pull it out. At last, i pulled both out with all my strength..though Mary ,Huimin and peishan helped me out. Lastly, the poking of holes on the masks!! the poking and tieing of rubber bands was tring. Though we had difficulties, i was contented when the performance turned out smoothly with loud applause . I knew that the actors and actresses were very hardworking as they rehearsed throughout the whole entire day and did not complain. Though our group faced difficulties, i enjoyed my experiences with the group as we worked together in unity and everyone was helping one another.In this group, I learnt that as long as there is a will, there is a way...if we wanted to see our performance a huge success..there will definitely be a way to overcome our problems and work hard for it.

'Happy' Valentines day?

'Happy' Valentines day?

It was valentines day..but am i happy? Perhaps not. It was a long and tiring day. Mr ong gave us chocolates n that tastes good..a loving note was given by him..which wrote: "Happy Valentines Day! From Mr Jae".. Thanks very much ... we appreciate it...i was struggling with the masks n costumes where my group members and i had to poke holes 4 those who had to act...haiz, accidentally poke a hole on huimin's mask n it teared a small little corner, n she paste it back.Poking holes was already tough, what's more for homework? Came home n rushed my hw...wanted to watch the dramas shown on tv but didn have the time...sigh..huimin was telling me tt many ppl told her tt they were too stressed! Ms neo became a clown today....the whole class spotted her 'GREAT' mistake on the board and yiqin raised up his hand to question... After the whole class laughed, she was like so called debating back to us..i was giggling at the back...however, we could not understand her teaching again..After which came the long extended rehearsal..me n jas became hot n thirsty after the rehearsal..the hall was so stuffy ..my arms strained when i was cutting the masks n using a small pen knife to curved out the mask..., sigh, it ached till i reached home...me n Jas then walked towards the bus stop together...but b4 tt, we went to the MAMA shop...got a COLD N SOFT drink n went home...what valentines day...
